History

The Bolet family has been dedicated to growing vines and making wine for more than seven generations.

In 1890 Josep Bolet Martí faced the phylloxera plague by replanting all the vines on his property with American vines and subsequently grafting them with the red and white varieties typical of the region.

Over the years, together with his son Jaume Bolet Galofré, new vineyard plantations were carried out until reaching the 66 hectares that are cultivated today. The properties, all of them located in different areas and altitudes of the municipality of Castellví de la Marca (Penedés), correspond to the estates of Can Planes d'en Perull, Las Conilleres and Mas Lluet.

In the seventies, Antoni Bolet Pascual proceeded to modernize the winery by installing new machines and tanks, all of them made of stainless steel.

In 1982, Josep Anton Bolet Bolet and Maria Tetas Cuscó began bottling homegrown wines and cavas under the Bolet brand.
